Scottish politics from a female, LibDem perspective
Mother, journalist, journalism teacher and political commentator. Last year I moved to Edinburgh for family and work reasons. However I still spend much of my timein the Highlands, particularly in the area around Portmahomack in Easter Ross, which has been part of my life since I was 3. I’ve been a journalist since I graduated from the University of Glasgow, which is too long ago now to think about. But in recent years I have also been politically active in the Liberal Democrats, standing for the Scottish Parliament, for Westminster and working as a Special Adviser at Westminster. The views in this blog are all my own. Some are political, all of them are personal.
